About my…

  • My dramaturgy is based in unpacking historical and contemporary biases between play text and audience. I am interested in extrapolating how drama challenges systems of oppression, and how to invite the audience to reckon with those realities.

  • I have experience teaching playwriting, musical theatre, and dramatic play with ages 3-14. Presently, my focus is on pedagogical development in higher education. I am deeply invested in advancing the resources available to artist-students that are equally practical and theoretical.

  • My research is based in the advancement of disability representation and rhetoric in the American theatre. My work proposes alternate dramaturgies for the continued emancipation of disabled artists across theatrical disciplines.
